A Wordy Post
I don't usually post words. I'm more of a picture person as you probably know, but I had to share this one...My washer recently broke (all mother's out there can imagine what a crisis this was), after a day of research, my sweet husband went and made our new purchase. We decided on a front-loader. To be totally honest water/power conservation was not really a factor in the decision. I liked it because I could wash 16 pairs of adult jeans at one time, which translates into about 80 pairs of kids jeans or about a weeks worth of darks in ONE load. Okay...so it does all that and I love it, but I also recently discovered that we really WERE saving water! I have been tracking our water usage for about 3 years now (my husband works in water and I'm an excel freak--don't ask!). We have had our washer installed for three full month and in EACH of those months our water usage has been down by 2,000 gallons! In Washington County that is a savings of approximately $7.00 dollars a month! Isn't that exciting??? Who would have thought? AND as I explained to Robbie, we made a very wise purchase becuase in exactly 13.09 years the washer will have paid for itself! :-)There you have it...my wordy post.
