LOOK at what I did today...okay, well, this and 4 loads of laundry, made my bathroom and shower shiny, changed the sheets on mine and RA's bed, took everything out of the linen closet and Mrs. Flied-it, straightened my bedroom closet, made lunch for daddy, took a nap, bought a wedding present, pushed RA in the swing, paid bills, went to the library and grocery store as well as bathed, fed and clothed RA all day...but THIS is by far my most proud accomplishment (with a close second being the nap :-)) I have never made a layer cake before nor iced anything other than a sheet cake. This whole wheat butter cake with homemade ginger cream cheese icing will probably satisfy my cake-baking notions for quite a while, so I thought you should all see! :-) Not sure how it tastes, we are waiting on Daddy. Hope you all have had a good day!

Ta-Dah!

I am impressed!! (by the cake and everything else you accomplished in 1 day). The cake looks great---and I know icing isn't the easiest thing in the world. Hope it tasted as good as it looked. :)
