Catechism

I went a little crazy with the videos since we are at Mom's and Emma has a camera and RA wanted to make some...

RuthAnne and I have been memorizing the Shorter Catechism since the beginning of the year. We have stalled on question 18 for the past two weeks, but here is a video of questions 16 and 17. The answers are:

The covenant being made with Adam, not only for himself, but for his posterity; all mankind, descending from him by ordinary generation, sinned in him and fell with him, in his first transgression.

AND: The fall brought mankind into an estate of sin and misery.

Joy to the World

RuthAnne wanted to send this to Gabe, Mya, Alena and Eden Vahn. Because she loves to watch them sing and we frequently have to scan through the blog for all the video posts.

Pigeon Forge (Part I)

Here are our Dollywood pictures. We LOVE Dollywood--mostly because the children enjoy it so! Here's one of Will's favorite parts of Dollywood-cookies! RuthAnne picked the cookie. It was pink with sprinkles.

Nana got to come for the day...

And Betty got to come for the day...So that was extra fun for us!

Here's RA's first Farris Wheel ride--which she LOVED! And Will wondering why he didn't get to go...
And that's everyone waving from the top...

And this was RuthAnne's favorite ride...it took you up at least two stories and then dropped you and RuthAnne thought it was great!

The rest of us were not so sure! :-)

Just as a fair note:there weren't many pictures of Will on the rides because it stormed in the AM and they closed the rides section and so it was late afternoon when we rode and clearly Will's nap time--he wasn't up to much riding. :-)

Pigeon Forge-Part II

The kids first time golfing was a riot! These pictures don't do it justice, but here they are--you can see them smiling!

The Master Messer

I was packing for vacation and chatting with Daddy on the phone Monday when I heard this...

It was Frosted Flakes ALL OVER!

Mostly Outside

That's where we've been most of the last month. There have been some beautiful days and the kids are playing outside more and more. RA will even go out be herself these days. I caught these two playing so sweetly together.
You can hardly see from these small pictures, but the kids are playing in their sprinkler. This sprinkler has little straws that spray everywhere and Will has discovered that he can pick up the straws and get his sister very wet. It was hilarious because I don't think RA ever figured out what was going on!

You can tell he's up to no good!

And this is our advertisement for Dunk and Deli. The kids and I get doughnuts almost every Saturday AM. This day we didn't get to go, but Daddy surprised us and brought some home!
