Nashville (Part 2--Painting Pots)

Here's our pot-painting...It was fun to see how seriously the children took their art. And the pots turned out great, but you will have to take my word for that since I neglected to take a picture of the finished product.

Umm....we didn't let Will participate, but he enjoyed watching!

Nashville (Part 1)

It's 7:30am here and all children are, of course, awake. (All under age 3 have been awake for 2.5 hours). We've already had out the shop vac--TWICE. I've been struck with a light saber and now the children are singing RuthAnne's version of "Bob the Builder"--"God the Builder" at the top of their lungs...Good Monday Morning to you!!!

We're in Nashville, babysitting my sister's children. We've had a fun time!

Here's our Saturday highlights. The goal was to take all the children to Gabe's final soccer game of the season. As we arrived at the park there was a torrential (think funnel cloud) downpour. Here we are waiting inside the Y for word on where the trophy ceremony would be held...Here's Aunt Noi who came to support Gabe...
Here's part of Gabe's team waiting on their cupcake and trophy...During a thunderstorm...
Ahhh....what a sweet reward...
This one's out of order, but I can't move it because Nae let me a Mac! But here's what the children ended up doing while Gabe got his trophy. We left them in the car with GrandMama to eat raisins...

Back to the cupcakes...
Listening to Coach Jennifer tell about his season...
Here's the trophy...

And finally two randomly fun pictures from our day...

Sorry, no pictures from Sunday, but we did survive church and a Catechism Party with lots of candy! I'm sure there will be more pictures from today...we are going to paint flower pots!

Mother's Day at Linda

Last night, Aunt Linda hosted a Mother's Day celebration at her house. Robbie took the children and everyone had a fun, fun time. (Mama couldn't go because I had to play the piano for church). Here are some pictures Nana took for us. I love this first one. See how much Will looks likes his GrandBob? I think they look just alike! Here's Will and Aunt Linda...
Here is RA before her first big boat ride! Uncle Scott took them for a fun ride and RA loved it!
Here they are waving to Will who didn't get to go since he didn't have a life-jacket.
And here's RuthAnne and her Nana...
