Catching Up

Here I am catching up with pictures! I'm always so behind!
Nana and Betty came over this morning to help me, and here they are with the children "riding the horsey". This game started last year about this time and EVERYTIME RA sees them she has to have a ride. Will was in on the action this time!
Here are pictures of the kids and Robbie helping me make our Christmas ornaments. We made cinnamon ornaments and it was so easy and fun!

This is Will manning his post in the high-chair.This is Robbie helping even though it wasn't his idea of fun, but he helped cheerfully and I think if asked he would say it was an hour well spent.

This is RuthAnne, you can see from this picture how excited she was. She is at a very creative age it's so much fun to make things with her. and here's another example of her creativity :-) She was sent to play and she called me into the kitchen and asked me to take a "pit-sha". Her masterpiece of "wetters"

7 Months Old

Hard to believe that he's only been here for 7 months and that he's already been here for 7 months! Will's sitting very well and crawling backwards these days. Things go by so quickly! Here are his official 7 month pictures.

In honor...

Here in VA hunting season opens tomorrow...I have heard some pretty accurate phrases to describe this season of my own life: "A Hunter's Widow", "I interrupt this marriage to bring you--Hunting Season" are two of my favorites...regardless of the not-so-looked-forward-to absense of my husband, we are excited about the possibility of "free" meat and so I am posting my kids in camo...Will is wearing the same outfit that RA was wearing not so long ago.
Before we move off hunting season, I will remark that I cannot believe how much RA knows about hunting--the other day a good friend came by to see Robbie and the Outdoor Channel was on. Our kind friend asked RA "Are you watching bucks?" RA in her I-feel-sorry-for-you-because-you-don't-know voice says: "No, that's a DOE!" And the other day I walked into the den and she says "They shot him with a shot-gun, Mama"...oh, okay, hunny... :-)
And here is Will demonstarting his walker skills as best I can capture on camera...he can FLY in that thing! He likes to chase RA all over the house on her riding toy.
