Here are my babies ready for bed...not sure why we dress them up this way since neither one of them actually GO to bed or sleep very long, but oh well...they do look cute I suppose :-)

The Last Week

We had an eventful week last week. For instance, Will went on his first walk...

RuthAnne played outside "by herself" for the first time (please note that she was being closely supervised by myself from the back door :-))...
I turned around one morning after BRIEFLY checking my email and found this... (apparently she couldn't get the shoes on OVER her jamas, please notice them on the floor)We were dressed for Easter...Will was not so excited in this shot, but unfortunately it was the best we got!

We're Back!

Okay, for those of you who have not totally given up on me...HERE is our long-awaited update--although probably not as glamorous as a THREE-week-off post should be! :-) We are slowly but surely getting back into real life so please bear with us. Things like internet and email are still in trying-to-catch-up mode, but here are some pictures from the past three weeks... we are trying to do better! Here's RA "Ooching" (rhymes with "smooching" and means "Holding") her brother...not sure where she came up with that word but she uses it ALL THE TIME...it's hilarious!

A Birthday Post

Here I was exactly 26 years ago today (my second birthday). It looks like Clara was helping me with my presents then...and today when she called we spent time discussing the 5 children we have between us. How good the Lord is! And what a happy day for me to share with my husband and 2 children!
AND...as I have been informed, once you have a child close to your birthday, your birthday no longer matters... :-) That wasn't totally the case as I have received lots of calls and cards today, but nevertheless, I did have to sneak in this picture of RuthAnne on my birthday post because I thought we looked alike. When RuthAnne saw the picture of me she thought Nana had fixed my hair too! :-)
