Christmas

Well, we hope you all had a very Merry Christmas...for our part we had a wonderful week, but are also glad for a little bit of a normal week this week! :-) RuthAnne is still trying to recover from wealth over-load and too little sleep. She slept for 17 hours on Friday.

It took me a while to get this post together because I had to sort through 276 pictures from last week, but below are some highlights. RuthAnne's new phone. RuthAnne trying to get Betty Jo to hold her
One of RuthAnne's favorite cousins, "Jah" (we all call her Jordan though!)
RuthAnne and Nana
Here's GrandBob and Nana and RuthAnne and Aunt Linda and Uncle Scott (sorry no one's actually looking at the camera, I think Ra had stolen the show again :-) )
All of the above were from Christmas Eve here at our house. We were so sad that Howard and Betty couldn't be with us. Betty came down with the shingles! :-( We are looking forward to seeing her again soon! :-)

Aunt Emma and Mya-Mya
GrandDaddy and two of his granddaughters
GrandDaddy and GrandMama showing off their collage
GrandDaddy, Gabe and Mya
Here's Alena...she's really getting around these days! And smiling even though she had a terrible cold!
These were from Mom and Dad's on Christmas day...Emma, Gabe and Nae were singing in our annual Christmas Day carol sing.

Daddy helping RA Christmas morning.Robbie entertaining RuthAnne while I cooked breakfast. I think he's holding at least 7 baby dolls! :-)

All of these were taken at various times thoughout the weekend. You can see that we all had a wonderful time! Hope you all did too!

Daddy's Clothes

Here's RA trying out Daddy's belt and shoes...she came clopping into the room so proud of herself as you can see! :-)

How It's Done

What we don't see is her pushing her chair over so that this little feat can be accomplished... :-)

A Few of My Favorite Things

RuthAnne helping Daddy. This is always fun to see because she LOVES to help. Daddy is installing our new dishwasher (which is also on my list of favorite things since we have done without for a few weeks! :-) ) I asked RA to stand by the Christmas tree and say "cheese" and here are my results. You can see from this picture that our Christmas tree is only half-lite. That is because after Robbie got all our working lights onto the tree, we turned them off and only half of them have worked ever since, but oh well! I felt very successful just getting my tree up and decorated.

My homemade gift tags!
My favorite little choir made by friends at church.
Our beautiful bows made by Nana and Betty. I think they make our Christmas tree look so pretty (even half-lite!).

My "Merry"...I got this on sale last year after Christmas, but couldn't afford the "Christmas" so it's just "Merry"!

There you have it. Some of our Christmas favorites! :-)

Some more pictures

GrandMama and Granddaddy stopped by for a quick visit last week and RA was very insistent on getting some pictures...So here we go! :-) It turned out good I though!
Here is a very rare shot (and we are so thankful). RA had shots this week and ran a fever of 103 on Friday. I was trying to appease with some television, but since she doesn't really like tv, it only lasted about 15 minutes. But this was certainly a very unusual moment for the child to be so quiet and still.
Here's a little bit happier picture we took yesterday. Robbie let's RA exercise with him and she LOVES it! That is MY kind of exercising...just along for the ride! :-)

Thanksgiving...At Last

Well, we did have a very nice Thanksgiving week. Daddy was off work some and that was great fun! We were very busy traveling to and fro. But lots of fun family time. Below are pictures from the Howell Thanksgiving Day. I haven't gotten Cornett pictures yet, but I will get those posted soon, I hope. Sorry for the delay :-) Aunt Clara and RA
Aunt Carrie and Alena
RuthAnne and Daddy
Me and the sisters...L2R...Clara, Carrie, Chrisa, and Emma

Here's our little family...You can see my growing belly. Little Will must be getting bigger!
Here are the Soundaras
Here's Everybody

And here are the two little friends. RA thinks Mya is the greatest! They had such fun together!
