A Visit Home

Last Saturday Daddy had to take (Ah-hem) driving school :-) because he got a wee ticket in the red car! TOO funny! But anyway...RuthAnne and I went home for the day and here is the fun we had.
I'm not sure who took these first two pictures, but I thought they were sweet.

Since RuthAnne loves her ball that Mama Jane got her, I decided to get her another one on our shopping trip. RuthAnne likes this ball as well and it is really funny to see her carrying it around with her little arms stretched as wide as they will go! :-) You can see she is enjoying herself!

Pardon the cup in these pictures. I guess playing outside makes a girl thirsty!

Picnic at Nana and GrandBobs

Last week we also had a picnic at Nana and GrandBobs...RuthAnne went swimming with our good friend (and cousin by marriage) Latoshia and Iona. I'm afraid the water effected her temperment so she was not so sweet, but here are a couple of pictures where at least she isn't crying :-)

Anniversary

Last week (I know, I'm always a week behind!) was my mom and dad's anniversary. They came to Bristol for dinner and then stopped to see us (well, mostly RA), but here are some pictures we took that night...
This is RuthAnne's new "sky" routine...are we convinced?

RA and GrandDaddy we playing ball. I'm sure RA noticed that GrandDaddy is MUCH better at ball than Mama is :-)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! :-)

My Good Deals

Alright, for those of you who haven't heard of my latest kick, it is coupons. :-) My good friend, Billie, got me started and now I'm officially hooked! I am also playing the Grocery Game (equally as addicting!) to help with my shopping. SO, I had to show off what I bought this week. These were my Kroger purchases...shelf price $19.13 with coupons and and card savings I paid $4.92!
These are my CVS purchases..shelf price $75.50 with coupons and card savings...$34.00 PLUS I got $21.00 in Extra Card Bucks to take off my next purchase! Isn't that very exciting! :-)

p.s. if you play the Grocery Game you can list me as your referral :-)

Eating

I though this sequence was funny...RA not only discovered chocolate chips this week, but she also discovered where they were located in our cabinet so here you see it... She got them out and took off the clothespin...
Notice her progress from the cabinet....
Now she's over to me and saying "mmmmm"...
And here she's saying, "Mom, please...see right here, this is what I would like to eat" :-)
Here we are trying utensils for the first time...RA is trying to eat "buttery noodles"...what I didn't get a picture of is the floor...it was big-time messes! But we will keep trying... :-)

First Mower Ride

After we got home from Nashville on Saturday, Robbie took RuthAnne for a mower ride...I don't think she was too excited about this adventure, or maybe she was still tired from our trip. Here she is far away...
And close up...Isn't that a serious look?

The rest of our Nashville Trip

Here are our zoo pictures...everytime we go to the Nashville zoo it makes me wish we had an Abingdon Zoo! Wouldn't that be fun??? :-) We had a wonderful week in Nashville...thanks Clara for putting up with us! :-) Not sure about this face, but RuthAnne was actually more interested in the animals this time so that was fun...
Isn't this one sweet of Clara and her little buddy? :-)
Riding the hippo....
The not-so-adventurous girls standing in front of the hippo...

Mya enjoying the swing while Gabe-O and RA were in the water...
Gabe's new sun hat

Aleena-Beena taking it easy with her daddy...what a sweet baby girl!

Water Fun and Puppets

Aren't I just posting away! :-) Sorry it has been so long. Today we went to the Library for a puppet show and Bi-Centennial Mall where they have lots of water spouts to play in...Aunt Clara and I were both expecting RA to like the puppets and hate the water (since she has never tried water before), but alas, we had it all wrong. RA screamed when the puppets came out and we had to leave and LOVED the water! In fact, she cried and cried when we had to leave. She is defiantly her father's child, because her Mama is NOT so adventurous! :-)

I thought this was sweet of the cousins in their stroller...do we think that they look alike??? :-) (I will also note, that you get lots of sympathetic looks and offers to hold the door when you are wheeling one of these things around Nashville....hahaha...we have had fun together! )

Nashville

Here we are in Nashville. RA and I came down with GrandDaddy on Monday and Daddy will be joining us on Wednesday! Here is GrandDaddy and his Soundara grand-babies.

GrandDaddy and "Aweena"

GrandDaddy and Mya

GrandDaddy and all the babies, as you can see, coordinating smiles can be quite the challenge

GrandMama's and GrandDaddy's

We are still here! Do not fear! I'm just very, very behind! But here are all the pictures I haven't posted in a while...we were at GM/GD's on Saturday before we left for Nashville and RuthAnne was outside enjoying her fam and Peaches (the dog :-))
