New Sunday Dress

Nana and Betty made this sweet outfit for Linda when she was much smaller. They let RuthAnne borrow it and she wore it to church yesterday. You can't see the entire outfit, but RuthAnne was QUITE dressed up with her black Sunday shoes and her white tights with ruffles. Her daddy said, "RuthAnne I'm sorry your Mama makes you wear all those clothes"...but her Mama couldn't resist! :-)

Birthday Fun!

Last Friday, we got to celebrate GrandBob and Linda's birthdays. We had a great time and you can see who was not far from all the action. RuthAnne especially enjoyed Linda's birthday gift. She is smiling at her Curious George in two of the pictures above.

Reading my Books

Daddy found us reading our books yesterday...RuthAnne loves to read, especially her ABC book where all the letters make a sound. But here we are reading "Good Night Moon" in preparation for nap time.

Carrots!

We post these pictures as a follow-up to our last feeding secession, that didn't go so well. We are very happy to announce that RuthAnne likes to eat these days. She has been eating cereal for a couple of weeks, but today we had carrots for the first time! She liked those too, but shew-wee they make a HUGE mess! :-) Oh, and she did get some into her mouth, good thing we made extra!

Fall Wardrobe

Well, how sad is this...the last time I updated my blog it was warm and RuthAnne was wearing shorts and short sleeves...you see today's outfit! She was all dressed up to go outside for a walk...this was RuthAnne's first fall-time walk and she enjoyed herself quite well... She is really starting to get a lot of personality these days. She can squeal, and demonstrates this skill FREQUENTLY. After she makes a very loud noise she will smile as if she did something big. She is also chewing on her feet these days...bet you can't do that! :-)
